Why w**d should not be legal in INDIA

Every now and then, when you pass a lane or cross a corner, you get a wiff of the crushed rolled leaves.
Upon enquiring, we found that it is more commonly known as Mary Jane, Shankar ka prasad, Auto
waalon ka nasha and Rajiv Gandhi’s biggest mistake (he banned it in india)
Apart from being one of the best natural muscle relaxants it also is very very useful in the medical field.
A lot of people in the world find relief in the oils, candies, bags , adhesives, etc that the plant offers. The
plant clearly says “I am relevant” when the Canadian Government offered free cannabis for a year if the
citizens got vaccinated. Tempting isn’t it? And still the heading says it should not be legal in INDIA.
I stand by it. I believe there are a lot many more issues that need to be sorted before we become a
country that legalises it.

Water

still dirty and now filled with dead body waste post covid. People need to have access to free and
clean water. Inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in India’s health facilities,
contributes to the high neonatal mortality rate, which is currently 24 deaths per 1000 live births. Less
than 50 per cent of the population in India has access to safely managed drinking water. Chemical
contamination of water, mainly through fluoride and arsenic, is present in 1.96 million dwellings. People
need to get this before any CAA or NPR or even a new liberated union territory. Water to drink and
clean.

Education

: ☺))))))))) Really, do we need to talk about it? What’s gonna happen to all the batches who
never gave those exams. Who is going to choose untrained people to work for them and the amount of
educated youth already roaming the streets secretly wasting precious time in rolling one. True that
the government has worked on free education but the standard of it is a joke. We need the emphasis on
‘quality’ of this education. Career Placement is one if the most haunting thoughts amongst students of
the nation. In our country the child is conditioned to start earning and repaying the folks with a
structure that socially obligates kids to function in a slaved thought process and if someone tries to
make an opportunity out of the misery, it usually turns out to be illegal. The value and standard
of education is dipping lower than our economy. What accountability do the leaders of our country
take? Or do we hold them accountable for our next generation’s future? How about we talk a little about
the primary level of education? If it is free it’s not worth it because neither are the premised education
worthy nor are the teachers. These are Government appointed teachers who are just slaves of the
government. They are hugely underpaid and are mostly curating or taking care of something which is
just not in their job description. If you watch any government rally or even a minister’s speech, anyone
you see doing volunteer work is a government teacher there. By the way, these teachers, these
government teachers play a vital role in managing elections. They aren’t paid for it, on the contrary it’s
expected out of them. It’s not expected that they mould a better and brighter future called students and
bring a change that they really can. These teachers need to be paid well and should only be focused on
the primary education of kids. If one ends up asking where shall the funds to pay these teachers come
from? The only answer to that is from all the middle men and mediators taking bribes. We were told a lot of black money would return in 2016 and all of us will have a lot of money, all of these were lies and
one needs to know now when they are being lied to. A kid needs to know from a very young age that
this nation is led by ideologies and not by people who you see lying on the television or whatsapp
videos. This isn’t a fight between Modi and anyone who’s not Modi, that this nation functions on a very
mass mentality ideology. One needs to understand at a very very primarily stage that only your local
MLAs and MPs are people who you choose and let them govern you. What if you knew and conveyed
exactly what you as a society wanted out of these MLAs and MPs and conveys it to them in a manner
that “we don’t care who is our PM, all we care is whether you end up fulfilling our needs and demands.”
What if the kid knows that it has the luxury of an elected civil servant at their disposal all the time, that
all their salaries come from our taxes and all the money they have comes from illegal activities. A big but
very doable ‘WHAT IF ?’
These kids need to have a natural conditioning of free thought and expression. They need to be taught
compassion and care. No one is born with it, it needs to be taught and preached like 2×2=4. No one
teaches how to save money or let alone make money using skills, no one is taught how to grow a plant
in an agricultural dominant nation. Each kid needs to know how to grow and take care of a plant. Just
imagine what all a child can learn growing if it’s asked to plant a seed and made responsible for the
growth of that plant it’s whole life. It’s a connection between the ancient beings of the planet and the
newest life form that it has. School is the place and teachers are the tools that induce patriotism in a
child. Like we know, not standing up for the national anthem makes most feel guilty. What if the child knows that it has to serve the nation for a minimum of 3 years be it in any field of defence? What do you believe
could be the changes in our society on the grass root level if this happens, be it a boy or a girl, there is
role and demand for all in today’s premise and above all the child learns a lot about responsibility and
nation.

Health Sector

: It took the 2nd wave of the Pandemic to open our eyes to how screwed and twisted our health
sector actually is, did you? Over millions died, a death that wasn’t even on record. It was painful to watch when our loved ones were burned or buried, but what hurt most was that they weren’t accounted for. Where the cremation ground register had over 500 entries daily, news said 4. Hospitals were earlier asked to mention Covid-19 as the cause of death as grants were being given to each case making sure that the hospital doesn’t fall short of taking care of the patient but we still were understaffed and under basic minimum hygiene.
We had unattended patients just laying on the floor of the hospital with their family members weeping
on their chest, little did they know that they were making it easier for the hospital. These mentions were
still videos and news on our screen till the first wave of the pandemic until it became our reality with
the second one. We all have lost someone we loved to this disease and there is literally no one to
question how and why. It’s just a shoulder shrug that one gets. Be it the over usage of equipment
causing new colours of fungi in us or be it disposal of the dead in the river bed.
Our Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi says that ‘aarogya setu’ has helped prevent the spread of infection.
Please do ask around if anyone saw ‘red’ or ‘unsafe’ on their application. There are cases when in the
covid isolation unit (where there are 20 people at all times) you are marked ‘SAFE’.
A lot of money was made by the bearded leader and his friends and more. We all unanimously lit
candles and banged our ‘thalis’ and got our hands together for ‘taalis’ this wasn’t to appreciate the
front workers or as we call them covid fighters, it was to scare off the virus. I repeat ‘scare it off’. Every week this liar of a leader would come and blurt his ‘mann ki baat’ which seldom made sense to people who probably wrote and curated this show. He speaks about everything irrelevant and nothing that is of importance to the Republic of India. Instead of everyone getting new health cards like aadhaar
cards, we need to demand free health care as well. It’s high time every citizen (one who has passport or
aadhaar or pan card or Driver’s licence) deserves good quality free health care.

ELECTRICITY

Do you live in a city my dear reader? And do you have 24 hour electricity?
Does your WiFi flicker when you are making payments due to supreme rates of the electricity. World
Bank figures show around 200 million people in India still lack access to electricity. On 28th April 2018 it
was declared by our Hon Prime minister that every village in the country has electricity. It doesn’t. Still a
lot more ‘swades’ is to happen, there are a lot many grannies standing under a light bulb waiting to say
‘bijli’. You should have access to 400 units of free electricity, there are districts in the country that get
less electric power than what the world considers to be a basic necessity.
Region wise, East has a shortage of 12.9 per cent, followed by the North-East with 9.6 per cent shortage,
South 8.0 per cent shortage, North 7.3 per cent shortage and West experienced a shortage of 3.9 per
cent. Thus the country’s power situation is grim despite the growth in generation, because demand has
far outstripped production.
The Power Ministry’s annual report for 1996-97 revealed that the power supply falls short of the total
demand by 16.9 per cent. The peak demand calculated was 62,367 MW whereas 11,852 MW of power
was supplied. There has been a marginal reduction in the transmission and distribution losses.
In 1996-97, there was a loss of nearly 21.13 per cent, which is slightly less than that recorded last year
(21.41 per cent). In recent years, the country’s power situation still remains grim. In 2006- 07, the peak
demand of power calculated was 1,00,715 MW against which 86,818 MW of power was supplied
resulting in a peak deficit of 13,897 MW of power which was 13.8 percent of the total demand.
Roti Kapda Makaan (food clothing and roof over your head) are the basics any human deserves in a
progressive democracy. We are a Republic that is as vast and diverse as the western Europe, we also
have state government and a central government system which enables all the citizens of all the states
to have a better and evolving life every day. They don’t know that it’s their basic right to get this life
instead they feel lucky and privileged if they have any one of the three basics mentioned.
It’s been said over and over again that youth is how any nation progresses. 70% of the nation is
youth which immediately applies that over 70% of the nation is ignored…..even the privileged aren’t
taken care of as far as education and growth is concerned. We need to be focusing on how mentally ill
we have become, oh sorry, we need to recognise that there is something called mental illness. Youth is
depressed as it doesn’t have any guarantee for how its future is going to be. There is literally no assurance to them, their parents are worried sick looking at their kids going though this turmoil over and
over again everyday.
Sitting at home and watching all those videos and lowering the attention span of the world to seconds
has exposed a lot many people to what’s outside their motherland and they cannot go because only less
than a percentage of the entire population of our nation can actually afford to get up and just leave to
see the world. This feeling of not being able to do anything and witnessing others fulfilling desires can
make one grow crazy and lower one’s morals to a new low altogether.
It is not okay in my opinion to let go of all these issues and have weed legal in our country.
Once we have ‘free good quality education, minimum 400-500 units of free electricity and a decent
health sector that doesn’t breakdown every dengue or swine flu season’ , we start the fight for legalisation of weed but only after we have these as basics, else the youth shall just be as lazy as china during opium war
with the East India Company. Think about it.
I advocate that one needs to find peace in it not fake a grin when under such circumstances. Only when
once we get our basics sorted, we shall be able to thrive again.
Hate no one
